Mrs. Muller's 4th grade students studied Energy, both light and sound energy. The students developed essential questions for which they would base their study. Throughout the unit, they gathered evidence that would support their question/claim. Students then chose a picture that would best illustrate their question. Along with that, a narration of the picture was developed. The students then worked with Mrs. Fink in the library creating a slide to use in a PhotoStory class project. Students imported their pictures, typed their text, worked with choosing a background and then saved their slide as a .jpg file to import into PhotoStory. Once in PhotoStory, each student was able to narrate his/her own slide.
